Why do I have to fill in the onboarding form?

We pride ourselves on being founder-focused. We tailor the programming in the space based on startup stage and founder experience, and take into account the need for personal and professional development of the teams as well. In addition, without your consent to be added to the Labs system, we will not be able to communicate with you other than sending you your monthly bill.

Why should my employee(s) fill in the onboarding form?

It's not just founders that we focus on. We run professional guilds supporting specific roles in the space. Labs programming can help a founder take care of their employees’ professional development by giving them access to events, lectures, and access to mentors with specific experience in addition to meeting like-minded individuals from all around the world.

What do you do with all the data you collect?

We use it to curate programming, create introductions to mentors, and track satisfaction and needs of members.

Why do you need to collect my feedback on every event I attend?

We've implemented a process where you'll only receive feedback requests for events you attended and would really appreciate you taking two minutes to let us know how helpful the event was. We monitor each session’s relevance as well as the mentor’s ability to help companies at specific stages. While each mentor is vetted for experience, your rating as well as other members’ feedback helps us decide whether there’s a fit and if this mentor should continue being part of our network. We also use it to calibrate mentor matching, as some mentors are more helpful for certain startup stages than others.

How can I let you know what I need in terms of resources and support?

Your Labs Manager is your point of contact for all the support you need. They can connect you to pretty much any relevant contact you may need. Be mindful when asking to meet certain people or roles; some require that you provide certain information or are in a certain stage before connecting with them. If you need to escalate a request, send an email to membervalue@wework.com
