Name: Ross Kimbrel
Title: Head of Labs, Southeast U.S.
If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
Disciplined, co-creator, and authentic.
What did you do before you joined WeWork Labs?
I was a partner at a venture capital firm.
What do you like best about working with early-stage startups?
I like helping founders create a systematic approach to building experiments that test critical hypothesis.
What do you do when you’re not helping startups succeed?
Spending time with my wife and 2 daughters—5 and 2.5-years-old—and ultra running.
What’s your superpower?
Goal setting and then relentlessly tracking and pursuing said goals.
What are your favorite things to do near your Lab?
Watch a concert at State Farm Arena or the Tabernacle, catch a Falcons game or Atlanta United match at Mercedes-Benz stadium.
I'm a tourist in your city - what do I have to see or experience before I leave?
You have to see the Beltline—a reclaimed railroad line that's now a paved path and will ultimately be 22-miles of continuous trail encircling the city core. Surrounding the Beltline are amazing restaurants, art installations, and historic communities.
