If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
Extroverted, perseverant, straight-forward.
What did you do before you joined WeWork Labs?
Head of Marketplace at Lavanda.
What do you like best about working with early-stage startups?
Working with people who are always willing to take risks, are fearless and never give up.
The ability to start a project over and over if the team is not satisfied.
The exciting instability: business models constantly evolving, fast-growing teams and projects diversity.
What do you do when you’re not helping startups succeed?
I organise Game Jams to promote diversity and inclusion in the video game industry.
I volunteer on a weekly basis to support the elderly community in my neighbourhood.
I take python classes.
I love cooking and trying new crazy recipes.
What’s your superpower?
Empathy : I can put myself in anybody's shoes and easily understand the other side's pain points. And my homemade cookies.
What are some good places to grab a bite to eat near your Lab?
Barrafina for great spanish tapas, On the Bab for Korean street food, and Roka for a fancy dinner!
What are your favorite things to do near your Lab?
Sit down with friends on a terrace in Neal's yard.
What's your most important piece of advice for startups?
Always be transparent with your whole team. In the early days, give the same amount of information to your interns and to your senior team—clear communication is the solution to many problems! ALWAYS listen to everybody, and make sure to gather people from different backgrounds when you need to make big decisions.
